Who is MARAKEZ?

MARAKEZ is a company that develops and operates mixed-use destinations under Fawaz Alhokair Group, and began its structured expansion in Egypt in 2015. It is led by Basil Ramzy as CEO, with Ahmed Demerdash Badrawi as Executive Vice Chairman.

Flagship projects

District 5 — South New Cairo

A mixed-use destination combining residential communities, offices, retail areas and restaurants. It includes phases such as D Parks and the Mindhaus business component. Every phase should link back to the parent page rather than generating a new article for each short marketing name without sufficient search demand.

Crescent Walk — the Sixth Settlement

A residential project in the Sixth Settlement with East and South phases, offering apartments, duplexes, villas and family units. Crescent Walk should be the canonical page, with the phases as child relationships.

Ramla — Ras El Hekma

A resort of roughly 402 feddans at kilometre 215, with villas, chalets, duplexes, penthouses and serviced units across phases such as Acacia, Bougainvillea and Breeze.

AEON — West Cairo

A residential project of towers and units in the Mall of Arabia area, embodying the company’s link between retail and housing.

The MARAKEZ malls

These include Mall of Arabia, Mall of Tanta, Mall of Mansoura and District 5 Mall. Mall pages should target tenants, visitors and brands, not only apartment buyers.
